Piaget presents at the Watches & Wonders 2025 exhibition a collection of watches named “Sixtie,” featuring unique trapeze-shaped timepieces. This collection is a revival of a legacy from the groundbreaking era of the 1960s, when Piaget pioneered the blurring of lines between the art of watchmaking and jewelry.

For nearly 60 years, a symbol of design and practicality, Piaget awakens the “golden era” of creativity once again with the introduction of Sixtie – a captivating collection of trapeze-shaped watches. “The workshop of extraordinary things” consistently delivers fresh masterpieces like Sixtie, which represents the pinnacle of Piaget craftsmanship and serves as an endless source of inspiration for those who own these exceptional timepieces.

More than just a timepiece, Sixtie resembles a precious gemstone on the wrist, featuring a blend of gemstones and metals that celebrates a feminine beauty that is both bold and unique. The distinctive trapeze shape not only evokes a glorious heritage but also seamlessly integrates into modern rhythms, balancing sharp geometric structures with refined elegance. Each moment worn on the wrist becomes a unique experience that transcends the mere function of telling time.

Embodying a unique and personal beauty, the Sixtie watch showcases exquisite craftsmanship in every detail of its design. Solid gold embraces the wrist, from the case to the supple strap adorned with interlocking trapeze-shaped links that reflect light in a captivating manner. The bezel is embellished with meticulously crafted gadroon waves, reminiscent of the legendary Piaget once owned by Andy Warhol, creating an intriguing connection between contemporary art and high-end watchmaking. The sunburst dial comes alive with golden baton hour markers and harmoniously elegant Roman numerals.

Sixtie is not just a watch; it is also a luxurious piece of jewelry, a subtle fashion statement that challenges all rules and standard proportions for the stylish woman. Whether worn alone or paired with other fashion accessories, Sixtie offers a distinct and luxurious appearance. Its asymmetrical rounded shape encapsulates a blend of timeless beauty and a pioneering spirit, concealing an intricate movement that reveals a unique story with each passing second.

As Yves Piaget once stated, “At Piaget, a watch is primarily a piece of jewelry.” Sixtie embodies this philosophy perfectly, serving as a unique jewelry piece that breathes life into intricate mechanical movements. Its rich details and radiant lines evoke the golden era of freedom—a spirit

As a symbol of Piaget’s ability to handle color, the new version of Andy Warhol’s watch, now a high-end jewelry piece, features a dial made of opal combined with blue sapphire, infusing all the color codes of the original 1972 design, brought to life through stunning shades inspired by high fashion. Following the addition of a unique masterpiece to the 2023 Metaphoria high jewelry collection, featuring a dial made from petrified wood, hour markers crafted from custom-cut emeralds, and three rows of baguette-cut emeralds encircling the case, the new high-end version of the Andy Warhol watch has shifted its color palette from earthy browns and greens to vibrant hues of green and blue, reminiscent of a kaleidoscope.

The glossy opal dial, sparkling with flashes of blue and green, is a wonder in itself—an exceptionally large gem that perfectly fits the 45mm case, making it a rare find. Opal, Yves Piaget’s favorite stone, has long been regarded as a symbol of purity and authenticity. Its brilliance is enhanced by the perfect blue hues of the three rows of baguette-cut sapphires that encircle it. Featuring slender dauphine hands, this masterpiece combines Piaget’s signature sophistication in color with a close relationship to rare gemstones, showcasing the full expertise of the craftsman, from watchmakers to jewelers.
