The CHANEL Cruise 2025/26 collection was unveiled at Villa d’Este, an iconic hotel located beside Lake Como. Against this picture-perfect backdrop, top stars such as Sofia Coppola, Keira Knightley, Lupita Nyong’o, Margaret Qualley, and others gathered in Northern Italy to admire CHANEL’s most anticipated resort designs. This time, the collection was once again crafted by the CHANEL Creative Workshop.
The CHANEL Cruise 2025/26 collection invites fashion enthusiasts to indulge in a luxurious holiday in Italy. Like a beautiful paradise beside Lake Como, protected from the outside world, Villa d’Este is a retreat frequented by celebrities, artists, and movie stars for their vacations.
The CHANEL Creative Workshop captured this dreamy and enchanting beauty, blending it with the house’s signature minimalist elegance into short taffeta evening gowns with ruffled pastel hues, reminiscent of the stunning Lake Como. The vibrant color palette, inspired by the sunshine-like tones of tweed suits, evokes the earthy, yellow, and orange architecture of the hotel, which appeared in a film featuring Sofia Coppola before the runway show.
Understanding the joy of wearing eye-catching designs during vacations, the collection’s main theme is dance. A lively disco era is expressed through cropped or wide-leg tweed pants embellished with multicolored sequins. The collection also features golden lurex floral jacquard trousers and black outfits consisting of a camisole and flared pants fully embroidered with shimmering sequins. Additionally, there is a backless lamé jumpsuit with pink and orange stripes worn beneath a long cape, reminiscent of the spirited enthusiasm for welcoming the warm sunshine of a new day.
The splendor of Villa d’Este is also reflected in its majestic grounds, whether day or night. Magnolia, wisteria, camellia, peony, and oleander flowers in the garden inspire lace designs. Delicate floral patterns appear on black dresses decorated with jeweled trims, flowing dresses with floral lace stripes, and a white suit comprising shorts and a Spencer shirt.
Pearl chains used as belts, minaudière evening bags, large handbags, long gloves, black sunglasses, shiny leather shoes, and silk foulard scarves tied on hair, around wrists, or around ankles over sandals contribute to a timeless allure aligned with CHANEL’s core DNA.
